Twickenham

This modern kitchen was designed for a large extension to a house in Teddington. It was planned to make the best use of the space and scale of the room. The brief also included keeping the area looking simple and uncluttered with the impression of space and light. With this in mind the kitchen was designed with a large central island as a focal point with coordinating cabinets in a range of sizes around the edge and side of the room.

All the kitchen cabinets, drawers and large island are made in horizontal grain European oak. The cabinets are handless and this gives the kitchen a minimal feel with clean lines throughout. The range of cabinets includes a pullout larder, magic corner and large cupboard with white shuttered front. The kitchen also incorporates a hidden utility area to one side with floor to ceiling cupboards housing a washer/dryer.
Additional lighting is provided by under cupboard luminaire lights.

The cabinets and island are complimented by the dark honed Zimbabwe granite worktops with mitred fronts and 50mm down stands. The island includes an additional sink and bar area facing into the kitchen.

We also supplied all intergrated and free standing appliances including a stainless steel Britannia range cooker with industrial cooker hood and Maytag American fridge freezer.
The finished kitchen is both sleek and practical and creates a fantastic area for entertaining.
