Terms and Conditions

1. Additional works, amendments and variations from the original specification which do not form part of the contract are subject to a separate quotation and payment.
2. Estimates and Quotations are subject to fluctuations in material costs. In general Estimates will hold for 3 months after which they will need to be reviewed. However, they may be occasions when material costs change significantly and unexpectedly and in these cases Estimates will need to be reviewed accordingly.
3. Ian Dunn Woodwork & Design will endeavor to comply with any time schedule requested by the client. Installation dates and times will be dependent on the site readiness and progress of other trades. Ian Dunn woodwork and design cannot be held responsible for delays to our works caused by the site conditions or other circumstances beyond our control.
4. Ian Dunn Woodwork & Design will protect our products on site. However damage by other trades due to any accident or removal of protection will be chargeable.
5. Title of the manufactured goods provided by Ian Dunn Woodwork & Design does not pass to the client until the full price of the contract has been paid.
6. Whilst Ian Dunn is happy to source and supply kitchen equipment as requested, the company accepts no responsibility for their performance or suitability.
7. Any Appliance guarantees should be taken out separately by the client with the Appliance company, using the appropriate paperwork provided on delivery. The Invoice from Ian Dunn Woodwork & Design for these appliances acts as the point of sale invoice for guarantee purposes.
8. With regard to work surfaces and splashbacks the client should pay careful attention to any maintenance instructions provided. Ian Dunn will not be liable for any damage caused by use contrary to the said instructions.
9. Timber products are natural and subject to movement and variation in colour, grain and character. Therefore in the course of time some changes may occur.
10. Images of finished projects may be used by the company for promotional purposes. These images would be taken by ourselves and would not include any members of the household. There would be no reference to client’s name or address, only a comment on the general location of the project.
   
  PRIVACY STAEMENT
We are committed to protecting your privacy. We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully ( in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998) and it will be held securely in accordance with our own internal policies and the law. We collect information about you for two reasons ; firstly to process your order and secondly to provide you with the best possible service. We will never collect sensitive information about you without your explicit consent. The information we hold will be accurate and up to date to the best of our knowledge. Under no circumstances will we pass your information on to a third party that is not directly involved with your transactions with us.
 
Terms of Business
  The financial terms are set out below

Cabinets
40% of total cabinet price as deposit at confirmation of order.
40% on delivery of the cabinets.
20% balance due on completion.

Work surfaces
50% of total price as deposit at confirmation of order.
50% balance due on completion of order

Appliances
100% of total Appliance price due on confirmation of order.

Our terms for Work Surfaces and Appliances are based on the requirements of our Stone and Appliance suppliers.
