This contemporary design allows for the island to be used efficiently in a fairly narrow kitchen space. The Silestone worktop with integrated sink reflects in the space allowing the different ceiling heights to be unified into the room, incorporating a discreet built in cooker hood.

In a period family home the tall cabinet units were built into the space to allow for generous storage and close-fitting appliances.
