initial consultation
The first meeting we arrange is generally on site. By doing this we can discuss your needs and get a clear understanding of what is most essential for functionality and style. We have a portfolio of past projects and material samples to aid the design process.
We take dimensions and at this stage budgets for the project can also be discussed.
design
At this stage Ian and our in-house Project Manager and CAD Designers work to create a unique and detailed design. This will illustrate the planned layout and specifications of the project. Further collaboration will then take place with you to finalise the design and specified appliances, worktops or accessories. An estimate will be sent to you for approval or any further design adjustments.
Construction
Once you have commissioned us to take on the project we then schedule the build in the workshop. After receipt of your deposit and when all preparations are in place, the design is put into production. Our experienced craftsmen hand make all of the furniture in house and we have a spray shop to carry out all the finishing work to any colour you choose. All our work is carried out to a high standard, with close attention to detail. When construction is completed site fitting can then be arranged.
As we work with various projects construction time varies. Typically a fitted kitchen takes ten to twelve weeks for construction whereas a fitted bookcase takes six to eight weeks.
Installation
Delivery of the finished project can be arranged when the site is ready for installation. Communication with the site manager and our team will ensure we can carry out the work and that any necessary plumbing, electrical or flooring work has been organised by the site manager. Fitting is then carried out by our qualified team, under Ian’s direction to ensure a high quality finish. We can then arrange templating and installation of any worktops or splash backs.
There is usually a two to four weeks turnaround between templating and fitting and, while these are being manufactured, we can arrange for temporary worktops so that the kitchen is fully functional. Appliances will be delivered and dry fit installed by our team at the appropriate time during the installation process.
A final inspection will take place by Ian and our Project Manager to ensure the work is completed and ready for use.
We offer a return visit within 6 months of the site being completed to carry out any adjustments.
